Welcome back returning families and welcome to our community those of you who are new to Holy Angels. On behalf of the PTO, we are glad you are with us and are looking forward to an exciting year! This is a welcome and invite to all parents to be a part of this program that directly impacts the needs of the faculty and staff at Holy Angels. 

We have been blessed to entrust our teachers and staff to care for and educate our greatest gifts, who are our children! As we take on another school year we all have the opportunity to offer support and gratitude to our wonderful educators.

1 Peter 4:10 states: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” Often we hear the phrase “give your time, talent and treasure” when we seek gifts from our community. We recognize the importance of that phrase, and these days I tend to call on others to give their “work, wisdom and wealth.” And there are so many ways that can be accomplished. 

Work

This academic year, the PTO has over 30 leadership roles for a variety of activities. Based on the current plans, we are looking for over 200 volunteering options ranging from in person and remote volunteering options.These opportunities range from activities such as volunteering for plant sales, helping at special lunch days, or even special events like the walk-a-thon. 

Wisdom

Our PTO board gathers regularly to thoughtfully consider and develop support for the faculty and staff. We are always looking for more dedicated board members and have some open positions that would highly benefit from the wisdom of you, our community members. 

Wealth

And finally, as a development professional, I cannot send out a communication without asking for a direct gift! We humbly ask that you also consider a donation to the PTO. Funds raised go directly into the classroom, impacting all of our kids. We suggest $15 as an option but we also welcome any level of generosity. 

Finally, I am humbled and grateful to serve this community and be a resource and friend to all of you. Thank you for your support and grace. We look forward to a great year of memories together.
